Project Showcase

SORTED
STAR BEADS

Sorted is a frantic cooperative online game for 1-4 players. You are a mail sorter robot working in sorting mail, operating sorting machines processing and delivering mail before the spaceship leaves for another planet. (Under NDA, more to share in the future)

Star Beads, the player will place beads onto a string to make a colored shape. The player will be able to make a shape and that color and shape is something they must match to if they understood what they just did. The purpose of Star Beads is to allow 3 – 4-year-olds to learn and grow in a before-school setting. It helps the parents give their child a new way to learn.

Pineapple Panic is a campy horror endless-runner centered on the story of Piña the Pineapple as he makes his escape from a hunger-crazed [antagonist] as they attempt to slice, dice, kabab, and/or grill you. The point of view for the game will be head-on, reminiscent of the boulder escape sequences from Crash Bandicoot.

About Me

In 2016, after graduating from high school in Brazil, I decided to travel to the USA and move abroad for the first time in my life to expand my horizons and immerse myself in a new culture. I lived in the USA for nine months, in New York.

After this initial transference of culture, I attended the film school Full Sail University to earn my Bachelor's in game design. Once I transitioned from a casual gamer to an aspiring games programmer, it was clear that making games was a world away from playing them. The rigorous curriculum I encountered during my two-year degree program at Full Sail made me very aware that in making games, there is much more to learn than joystick commands and CPU processing paths. However, now as a new games programmer at a self-published game studio, Full Sail has made me aware of more than just what it takes to make games. The studio has also taught me a great deal about working well with others.

I became a game designer at Break Knight Games in 2021, later evolving into the role of producer in 2023, where I had the pleasure of working on an Unreal multiplayer game set for release in late 2024. It was quite a wild ride that pushed me to my limits, learning and absorbing while helping bring the game to fruition.

Furthermore, in the year 2023, with the ambition of deepening my knowledge of the gaming industry at the production end, I set out to complete a Master’s degree in game design that reinforces my drive to plunge deeper into the fundamentals of the gaming industry and understand its game-production process.
